12th International Aikido Festival

Organized at the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, on May 22-26, 2024 with the participation of more than 400 participants from Germany, the UK, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Moldova, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkmenistan, and Türkiye, the 12th International Aikido Festival has been concluded with a blazing success.

Such a success is the achievement of those who believe in that years of self-sacrificing labour and a positive spirit will ensure reaching the goals and of those who put all the effort to make this a reality. We hereby fulfil the request of our master, TAMURA Nobuyoshi, who steered the Aikido in the world.

I’d like to take the opportunity to thank to the teams from METU, METU Aikido Society, KATSU Aikido Club, as well as the remaining organizers and participants, for always exceeding all expectations.
